Looky Looky Looky it's only November 4th and I am already updating, does this mean I can take the rest of the month off. I just had to put htis picture on cuz I thought it was funny. Kamdyn woke up with a perfectly beautiful face...we spent about 30 minutes with a friend and by the end she was marked up all over and had a fat lip...poor baby.

October

As I sat down at the computer today to look at many meaningless things and waste more time that I complain I have not enough of I realized it is October 31st. In case you haven't noticed a pattern I have only managed to BLOG once a month. With it being the 31st I figured I better get an entry in here so as not to break the monthly pattern. So October started off with us taking our Bi-annual (I think that's what you call every other year) trip to Florida. It was wonderful to spend so much time not having to think about anything, especially those horizontal surfaces that stare at me all day at home. The trip was also a chance for the kids and I to spend some more time with Tom before he was to take off on another trip overseas once we returned home. He will only be there a short time this round but will be heading to Alabama in January for a class he needs to attend. Since he's been gone the girls and I have been busy with Fall and Halloween activities and many Pampered Chef parties :) amongst other things. So here are a few pictures of our October. Kamdyn really didn't enjoy the ocean when we went the first time, I think it was a bit noisy and intimidating but then we went to the Gulf side and she seemed better. Oh and we woke up one morning to a gazillion hot air balloons taking off over Disney and we could see them off the patio of our place, the girls really liked that. I don't have any pictures of Disney cuz we've been there done that and it was just Tom and I and Bailey that went this year. We did go to Busch Gardens this year for the first time since we were both kids so I did take some pictures of that. It seems Kamdyn is gonna enjoy rides a lot more than Bailey does.

Holy Green

We painted Bailey's room. Since we had to wait a year before we could paint in the new house and I was so tired of seeing white, we decided to go with a color that would knock your socks off.
Just kidding, it was either this or pink and you all know how I feel about pink. Bailey wanted blue but since the curtains, sheets, and bedskirt were already blue I told her she could have any other color in her comforter and she picked green.

Bailey Is Off To Kindergarten

So after a summer that seemed like it took forever the day has finally come to send Bailey off to Kindergarten. It was a very joyous day for all of us, no tears on either end. I was a little disappointed to see that out of 19 kids in the class there were only three parents that brought their baby to school for the first day of the rest of their academic life. I am guessing when the class needs volunteers the same three will be there then too. I wouldn't have missed it for the world, neither will I miss any opportunity to share in her education over the next 13 years. Oh and I need to find something constructive to do during the day while Kamdyn is napping cuz I was bored out of my mind today(No, I didn't take that time to clean off my kitchen counter, that is always last on my list). So when I asked Bailey if Kindergarten is everything she thought it would be she answered, "no, this room is too small", go figure. After school I asked her if she had a good day and she said, "no, my friends were being mean and pushing me". Sounds like it's time to make new friends. Well I am off to get the nightime routine of baths and bed started, hopefully it won't be another month and a half before I blog again.
