Christmas in Colorado
After we celebrated Christmas here at home we got in the car and drove to Colorado Springs to spend the week between Christmas and New Years with my brother and family. It was nice to have the cousins together for Christmas.

While there we went to The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for their nightime zoo time. You may have to click on the picture to see the view. The zoo is actually on the side of the mountain, pretty cool.

We also went skiing in the mountains. It was nice to have grandma at my brother's house so we could do the things we wanted to do without Kamdyn. Bailey went with us and did a Ski School to learn the ropes. After class we took her on the lift for the first time. The lift we were on had a place to get off a little way up the mountain and then continued on to the top of the mountain. I was first then Tom and Bailey were behind me. I got off the lift at the first stop, as did Tom. Unfortunately he left Bailey on the lift all by herself. I was so scared for her since this was the first time she had been on the lift and really had no idea how to get off or exactly how high she was going to go, did I mention she was By Herself.
We were able to call the top and let them know she was on there. Then they had a snowmobile go get her since she was just a beginner and once again By Herself. Thankfully the people behind her were kind and talked to her the whole way up trying to keep her calm. This particular lift did not have an overhead bar either and she was By Herself. After about 30 minutes she arrived at the bottom of the mountain on the snowmobile and said she was done for the day. I didn't blame her! So we will see if she will ever do it again.

We also went snowmobiling up in the mountains, once again Kamdyn stayed home with grandma.

This sign was at a Pumpkin Patch near Kansas City we went to with some friends from the Forks that have moved to Whiteman in Missouri. I know many of you can relate to this feeling some days!
Halloween! We had a bear and Pebbles. The 2 neighbor kids helped out and were Bam Bam and Dino!

Farkleing Instead of Blogging
Funny how this game just came about...My friend and I started having coffee/tea at The Bread Company a couple weeks ago and saw these 2 ladies there playing a dice game several weeks in a row... so naturally we ask What Are You Playing? Farkle of course! Then a week or so later here it is on Facebook...I have been meaning to try it but haven't found the time til today. Fast forward a few hours...I was going to sit down to update my blog like everyone else and UGH, I got sucked in. So I am Farkleing istead of updating. But I will update soon, I have all my stuff ready to go!
